Taking Grandma Out to Eat at a Delaware Seafood Restaurant
My grandmother means all the world to me. She used to thrill me with stories of growing up by the ocean and its roaring waves. I was captivated by her simple tales, especially because I lived so far from the sea and its mysteries. Now that I am grown, I have decided to take Grandma on a little trip back to the sea. We’re going to find one of the Delaware seafood restaurants that sits as close to the ocean as possible. If she feels up to it, we will walk the beach; if not, we’ll find the boardwalk. I want to be part of her memories of a time so long ago, a time I never knew.
