What Part of the Country You Live in Determines Your Dental Assistant Salary Range
Recently I was talking to my cousin who lives several hundred miles away and we were doing some job comparisons. Apparently there are really broad dental assistant salary ranges, depending upon where in the country you live. I had no idea that they would be such a disparity. Fortunately, my job pays really well compared to the area in which my cousin lives. I actually suggested that if she wanted to get into the same field, she might consider moving to a better paying area. She really doesn’t want to go far from her family, though, so I doubt that she would come all this way. I guess she’ll just have to be satisfied with what she gets there.
