The Notice of Auction in MS Foreclosure Law

In MS foreclosure law, a notice of auction is published in a local newspaper once a week for three consecutive weeks if the borrower fails to resolve the default during the pre-foreclosure stage. This notice of sale, which is also posted at the courthouse, provides information regarding the parties involved in the foreclosure. It also describes the property, the deed of trust, the location and schedule for the auction, and the terms of the sale. It should be noted that in the state of Mississippi, the debtor has no redemption rights after the auction and all foreclosure sales are considered to be final.
