The Popularity of the American Girl Samantha

It all started with Samantha with American Girl dolls.  Well, actually there were 2 other characters we were introduced to along with her, but Samantha seems to be the one that little girls all across American really want to be like.  Because of this the stores have mostly sold out of Samantha outfits and accessories.  Well, that, and then there is the fact that she is now a retired character which means the company will stop making her dolls and other items that go along with her.  I have a little niece who absolutely loves the Samantha doll and pretends to be just like her so I am sure there are many girls who will miss Samantha in the days ahead.
