The Date

She compare coffee makers, my friend told me before he set me up on the blind date. A writer, then; how could I impress her. My first thought was to go to Starbucks on the date, then I scrapped that idea. First off, it could be considered low class by her standards. Secondly, I didn’t think she wanted more of what she saw on the job. I definitely wouldn’t like a date at the karaoke bar given my profession. So I settled on a restaurant I had just heard about opening. It might not be the best, but it would be far removed from either of our professions.
