My Money Management Skills Started with a Free Credit Report

My father did not let any of his six children go out into the world without knowing something about money management. Since he did not trust the educational system to teach us what was important, he did it himself.  He started by showing us how to get a Free Credit Score, then explained why that was important.  Dad also provided a list of advantages and  disadvantages to credit cards.  We learned about saving money and how to stay out of debt.  As annoying as it was to  listen to those lectures then, I have thanked him a hundred times for the wisdom which kept me debt free.
