Perlite and Vermiculite are the two materials, which when mixed together creates a Fireproof Insulation. Both of these materials are inert, lightweight, and inorganic and of course fireproof too. But there is one more thing that should be known to the users of fireproof insulation is that whatever material has been used to build the fireproof insulation, it gradually loses its capability of fire resistant. Hence, regular inspection of their integrity is necessary in order to ensure safety from the fire.
