Enough Money for Barn Remodels
My brother owns a small dairy farm, and even though the days of family farms are about over, my brother holds out. He can afford to partly because he enjoys it and makes it work, and partly because his wife makes enough money to pay the bills. But they obviously aren’t hurting for money, because he just remodeled part of his barn, to include two small bathtubs for rinsing off boots, equipment, buckets, and probably calves for all I know. I’m glad that he gets to do something he loves, even though there isn’t a lot of money in it. Not everyone is that blessed.
