A Memorable Smoky Mountain Nature Moment
A primary objective for any outdoor photographer is to convey as nearly as possible what was sensed and felt the moment the shutter was pressed while focused on a scene. I ventured out to photograph a Great Smoky Mountain nature sunrise one very early spring morning a few years ago. I arrived at the location along the Foothills Parkway where I had decided to capture the sunrise it was as dark s ever. I couldn’t even see a faint hint of the mountain range that I presumed was somewhere out there in front of me. I set up my camera equipment and waited in anticipation of the sun’s arrival. The faint sun light began to appear and rays sprayed out over the sky. I took picture after picture while the scene before me was changing in appearance minute by minute. It was an exhilarating and a memorable.
